In order to promote exchanges and cooperation between various industry associations and promote high-quality economic development in the Park, on the afternoon of March 9, Songshan Lake Industry Development Bureau held the 2021 Songshan Lake Entrepreneur Alliance Industry Association Exchange Meeting.

This meeting was attended by Chen Chaohui, Director of Songshan Lake Industrial Development Bureau, and the president or secretary-general of 20 associations based in the park, including Guangdong Connector Association, the Listed Company Association of Dongguan, Dongguan Robot Industry Association, Dongguan Digital Industry Association, Dongguan Biotechnology Industry Association, Dongguan New Material Industry Association, Songshan Lake High-tech Enterprise Listing Promotion Association, Dongguan Songshan Lake Electronic Commerce Association, Dongguan Songshan Lake Merchants Association and so on.
Chen said that in last December, the Songshan Lake Entrepreneurs Alliance was established. All industry associations are important bridges for communication between the government and enterprises. The first Songshan Lake Entrepreneur Alliance Industry Association Exchange Meeting was held this time in hope of gathering all resources to promote Songshan Lake towards high-quality economic development.
At the exchange meeting, representatives of various industry associations voiced their opinions freely, shared excellent resources and experience in the industry, or raised difficulties encountered. They have also raised questions and suggestions on how to optimize Songshan Lake's business environment, how to help talents settle in the area, and on industry resources sharing as well as training for associations. Officials with Songshan Lake Industrial Development Bureau responded to these questions one by one.
Last year, against the backdrop of COVID-19, the e-commerce live broadcast industry ushered in vigorous development. The Songshan Lake E-commerce Association held some training sessions on live broadcast skills to boost the sales of many companies in Songshan Lake. Deng Jiansheng, deputy secretary-general of Songshan Lake Foreign Business Association, said that many foreign companies also wanted to expand their sales in China and hoped to cooperate with Songshan Lake E-commerce Association to help the industry develop.
Chen Yonggang, Secretary-General of Dongguan Robot Industry Association, said that the exchange meeting promoted experience sharing and business cooperation among brother associations. He hoped that in the future, more exchange meetings in areas such as association cooperation, improving operational capabilities, and corporate team building could be held to bring more parties involved and achieve mutually beneficial cooperation. At the meeting, all parties reached a consensus on holding exchange meetings regularly to lay a solid foundation for more precise service and promotion of the association, and realizing sharing and win-win cooperation.
On the day, representatives of various industry associations also went to the Dongguan Youth Entrepreneurs Association for inspection and exchange. Established in 1990, Dongguan Youth Entrepreneurs Association is an excellent organization of young entrepreneurs in Dongguan. Zhong Shumin, deputy secretary-general of Dongguan Youth Entrepreneurs Association, introduced the association's history, development strategies, organizational structure, and special activities to the representatives of the association.
After the meeting, representatives of various industry associations said that they will strengthen cooperation with other associations and integrate resources from all parties to achieve win-win cooperation, and enable industry associations to play a greater role in the development of the Park.
