Department of Science and Technology of Guangdong Province recently published the list of sci-tech innovation voucher service institutions for 2019. After independent application and expert review, Guangdong Electronic Science and Technology Engineering Research Institute of UESTC was selected.
According to the list, a total of 197 institutions in Guangdong were selected, among which 15 were from Dongguan, and 3 of them are new R&D institutions including Guangdong Electronic Science and Technology Engineering Research Institute of UESTC. At present, the Research Institute has successfully settled in Guangdong’s sci-tech innovation voucher platform SCTCC.CN and opened a flagship store offering online service products, which can provide science and technology resources and services for tech SMEs and entrepreneurs.
Established in 2007 and backed by all six national key disciplines in the field of electronic information science and technology of the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China, the Research Institute set up 9 research centers in areas including new materials and components, intelligent equipment and precision instruments, integrated circuits, cloud computing and big data, cyberspace security, and artificial intelligence, 5 public laboratories in areas such as electromagnetic compatibility, integrated circuit design, and environmental reliability, as well as more than 60 major technical service platforms in the industry. These can provide a series of professional services for enterprises, such as basic research and technology, tackling key technical problems, technical consulting, testing and certification. As a national technology transfer demonstration institution, the Research Institute has focused on innovation and helping with enterprises’ transformation and upgrading,andprovidedscientific and technological services to nearly 10,000 enterprises.
